The NXTP (Next Stop) consists of one or two line displays that require a data feed.  The NXTP signs are used in public transportation to alert passengers to the upcoming stop.    An on-board processor reads the GPS location of the vehicle and then, when triggered, sends the correct pre-scripted information to the Next Stop sign accordingly.  The units are built in two lengths 16 and 20 characters.  Messages can be displayed statically or as a continuous stream and text can be flashed or made bold as a whole or in part using simple script commands.  The LED colors available for this unit are red, green, amber, blue, and white. The majority of them are a traditional red or amber because they read better in the daylight.
